Mohammed Abu Ghazaleh

Chairman (Chairman and CEO, Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. – Miami)

Mr Abu Ghazaleh has served as Fresh Del Monte's company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 1996. He also serves as the Chairman of the Royal Jordanian Air Academy.

From 1997 to 2010 he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IAT. Mr Abu Ghazaleh was President and Chief Executive Officer of United Trading Company from 1986 to 1996.

Prior to that time, he was Managing Director of Metico from 1967 to 1986. He also serves on the boards of directors of Bank Misr Liban and United Cable Company, Inc.

From 2004 to March 2011, Mr Abu Ghazaleh served on the board of directors of Jordan Kuwait Bank.

Wasef Jabsheh

CEO and Vice Chairman

A key figure in the Middle East region and founder of IGI, Wasef Jabsheh has specialised in marine and energy insurance for more than 40 years in various prominent roles with Kuwait Insurance Co and with ADNIC from the mid 1970s to the late 1980s.

In 1989, Wasef established Middle East Insurance Brokers and two years later founded International Marine & General Insurance Co. He also served as a Board Director with HCC Insurance Holdings Inc until 1997. 

Khalifa Al Mulhem

Director (Chairman, National Polypropylene Company Limited – Saudi Arabia)

Mr Khalifa Al Mulhem serves as the Chairman of the National Polypropylene Company Limited and Advanced Polypropylene Company - Saudi Arabia.

In addition to this, he serves as a director of diverse companies based in Saudi Arabia and Europe.

He graduated in 1978 from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (with a major in Finance).

David D. Anthony

Independent Insurance Consultant,DA Research & Analysis (DARAA)

Mr David Anthony has a wealth of 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, which has included senior, insurance-related positions at ratings agencies and with international banks. He has worked extensively in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa and the United States. David Anthony is an independent insurance consultant working under the DA Research & Analysis (DARAA) trading name.  Before that, David was a Director and Senior Analyst with S&P Global Ratings (formerly Standard & Poor's). Throughout his time with S&P, David remained an active lead rating analyst, and a Chair of the Insurance Rating Committee.  

Hani Jabsheh

Non-Executive Director (CEO,

Mr Jabsheh is the co-founder and current chief executive officer of Al-Bawaba.Com Inc, based in Jordan, an online digital content provider and online media platform for the Arab world and greater Middle East.

He also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Royal Aero Sports Club of Jordan and as a judge on the World Super Yacht Awards panel for Boat InternationalYa.

Prior to entering the online media industry in 2000, Mr Jabsheh was a broker at Lloyd’s in London for two years, employed by Aon Group’s energy division.

Mr Jabsheh holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University. 

Anwar Al Jabri


Mr Anwar Al-Jabri has over 18 years’ experience in investment, banking and financial services. He holds the position of a Chief Executive Officer at Oman National Investment Corporation (Jabreen Capital) and has previously worked for Oman Investment Fund (OIF), a Sovereign Wealth Fund of the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Refinery Company and the Central Bank of Oman holding various senior posts in investment and financial fields.

He holds Bachelors of Science in Accounting Degree (BS.A), Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

David King

Non-Executive Director

Mr King currently serves as a non-executive director of IGI Holdings, he is also the Chairman of its Risk & Audit  committee.

Mr King also serves as a non-executive director of IGI UK. Additionally, he serves as a member of the boards of directors of Forex Capital Markets Limited and serves as chairman of its audit committees and is a member of its remuneration committee.

From 2010 to 2012, he was the executive director of Middle East business development at China Construction Bank International. Prior to that, Mr King held the positions of director of finance & administration and chief executive officer of The London Metal Exchange from 1987 to 2001, managing director and acting chief executive of the DFSA from 2003 to 2005 and managing director of global banking in the MENA division of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited from 2005 to 2009.

Mr King is a fellow in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield University.
